HE’S been at the Somerset helm for just one match so far, but Tom Abell is already showing the signs of being captain for the long haul, according to teammate Peter Trego.
Abell’s first game as skipper ended in defeat at Essex – largely thanks to Alastair Cook’s hundred – but the 23-year-old has a shot at redemption as his side face Lancashire at Emirates Old Trafford this morning.
