IT WAS a family affair at Pershore this weekend as three members of the Andrews family turned out for the third XI.
12-year-old Alex made his first appearance for the senior side alongside dad Paul, but it was older brother James who stole the show with figures of 4-6 – including a hattrick – in a win over Harborne fifths.
The 14-year-old has been at the club for six years and has made his way through the age groups at Pershore.
Chairman Phil Oxley is proud of the club’s tradition of bringing through young players and giving them a chance.
