JAMES Middlebrook is currently ripping it up for New Farnley in the Bradford Premier League – but the former Yorkshire spinner has different long-term goals after making his first-class umpiring debut earlier this year.
The 39-year-old was part of the Yorkshire side that stormed to the 2015 County Championship title, alongside the likes of Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow and Adil Rashid.
