TAVISTOCK this week mourned club legend Stuart Munday, whose innings of 72 came to an end on Saturday.
Despite battling cancer, Munday continued to play a very active role at the club both on and off the field until very recently – as well as being chairman of the Devon County Cricket League and captain of the Devon Over-60s second XI.
During his 50 years at Tavistock (having initially joined the club in 1965) he filled every role from chairman, secretary, treasurer, social secretary, colts’ secretary captain and president, as well as raising thousands of ...
