SURVIVAL is the aim for newlypromoted Brockhampton in the Birmingham & District Premier, and having a Worcestershire batsman in the ranks is only going to boost those chances.
Daryl Mitchell hit a superb 194 off 151 balls at they beat Dorridge by 32 runs last weekend, earning them their first win of the season.
It was the 33-year-old’s home debut after he confirmed he will play at least four matches for the club this year, although he is now set to miss several games as he continues to help Worcestershire fight on three fronts.
