Keswick coach’s gong

KESWICK cricket coach Andrew Bryson was honoured at Headingley this week by England coach and former international Graham Thorpe, after winning the ECB’s Cumbria Coach of the Year award.
Bryson, a 33-year-old physiotherapist and Keswick player, also coaches the Cumbria under-15 squad and works part-time for the Cumbria Cricket Board.
“I was aware I had been nominated for the award, so I knew my name was in the hat,” he said. “But it was a nice surprise to win it.
