CHARLIE SHRECK hangs up his spikes with “fond memories” after the Leicestershire bowler retired with immediate effect.
Former Notts and Kent man Shreck, 39, took 577 first-class wickets in his career and has retired from all forms of cricket.
He said: “Unfortunately, all playing careers have to come to an end and my time is now. I look back with fond memories of my time and feel very privileged to have been a part of the cricket community for so long.
