IN the first 34 years of 50-over international cricket, England topped 300 runs a total of 34 times. Since 2015 they have managed it 23 times.
That conscious decision to be more attacking and take advantage of big hitters has paid dividends – and now England are turning to sports science in an effort to continue their one-day revival.
