AT Leicestershire, we were quick to pick up promising seam bowler Tom Taylor this week, following his release by Derbyshire. I’m already looking forward to working with him.
Tom has been on the England pace bowlers’ programme and I’ve heard some very good things about him. At only 23, he’s got a long time in the game ahead of him, and it was only a couple of years ago that Ottis Gibson rated him as one of the best young prospects in the country.
He had a little niggle and he didn’t get the chances at Derbyshire but we are delighted to get him in.
