COLIN de Grandhomme, scorer of the second fastest Test century, will return to Edgbaston this summer with Birmingham Bears re-signing the New Zealander for the T20 Blast.
The 31-year-old raised his bat after reaching a hundred off just 71 balls in the Black Caps’ Test against West Indies in December. The Bears will have that power available for all games in next year’s T20 Blast campaign after helping the Bears to the final at Edgbaston in 2017.
