DAWID Malan’s impressive winter has got better, having been named Middlesex’s new captain.
Malan hit his first Test century during the Ashes, and has now been named club skipper of the side he has played for since 2006. The 30-year-old takes over the captaincy of the club in all formats, with Sam Robson appointed as his four-day vicecaptain.
