SAMIT Patel produced with both bat and ball as the defending Royal London One-Day Cup champions delivered a thumping win against Leicestershire at Grace Road on Wednesday. Patel smashed his first century of the season while Chris Nash, Riki Wessels and Tom Moores all passed 50 in the Outlaws’ stunning total of 409-7 – Notts’ fourth highest ever in List A cricket – proved far too much for the Foxes.
