Milnes makes the grade to end Plumtree 203-year wait

This week, the This week, the Nottinghamshire villagers, who were founded all the way back in 1815, watched on as Matt Milnes became the first club product in their history to play County Championship cricket for Nottinghamshire.
The 23-year-old pace bowler marked his bow with a debut wicket on the first day of Notts’ six-wicket loss to Division One pace-setters Somerset, to the delight of the friends and colleagues he holds dear at the village club where he learned his trade.
