ONLY time will tell whether India’s decision to cut their only warm-up match to three days will come back to haunt them in the series against England.
Yet on the evidence of the first two days against Essex not all of their players look undercooked. Having batted for 100 overs, India making 395 after collapsing to 44-3 on the opening morning, several frontline batsmen have valuable runs and time in the middle under their belts ahead of Edgbaston.
