CHESTERFIELD were forced to cancel their Derbyshire Premier League fixture against Denby last weekend after a group of travellers set up camp on the outfield.
On Friday, caravans and other vehicles arrived around 5pm and illegally parked on Chesterfield’s home of Queen’s Park.
Police were called to the club to remove the invaders who had left their laundry to dry out next to the club’s pavilion but they refused to move.
