‘Slug’ Ervine also decides to end Hampshire stint

SEAN ERVINE has joined Hampshire team-mate Jimmy Adams in retiring from the county game.
He may have arrived on these shores with the nickname “Slug” but Ervine, 35, was no slouch – and when it came to calling time on an illustrious career, he made sure it was on his own terms.
