DAN Douthwaite’s Glamorgan debut last month created a bit of unwanted history for the young all-rounder.
But the 22-year-old is already setting the record straight and desperate to take full advantage of an opportunity he admits he thought had passed him by.
The hard-hitting allrounder caught the eye of a number of counties at the start of this summer with knocks of 95 and 100 not out for Cardiff MCCU.
One of those early season skirmishes was against Glamorgan who liked what they saw and offered him a three-year contract at Sophia Gardens.
