BEN Gibbon’s lifetime-best figures deserved more than defeat, but 8-59 from the Oulton Park youngster couldn’t prevent his side narrowly losing out to Timperley by two wickets on Saturday.
Three years after joining the club from Tattenhall, the 18-year-old is enjoying opening the bowling for the first time this season and has started impressively – although it was a switch from the tried and tested that bore fruit this time.
