Borthwick joy after first century in two years

SCOTT Borthwick endured a cruel run of injuries forcing him to miss Surrey’s triumphant Championship run-in last summer and the whole of this year’s One Day Cup campaign. So, his elation at reaching his first Championship century in two years was palpable. His last Division One ton came against Lancashire in April 2017. He scored an unbeaten 175 against West Indies A last July but was then sidelined by a broken wrist for the remainder of the season.
