LAST Friday, Oldham Athletic owner Abdallah Lemsagam issued a statement backing Laurent Banide to continue as the club’s manager.
On Wednesday, Lemsagam sanctioned the loan of fan-favourite Gevaro Nepomuceno to Chesterfield on account of a disagreement with Banide.
Then, just 24 hours later, that very same owner sacked Banide and immediately appointed Dino Maamria, who had been fired by Stevenage earlier this month.
For Oldham, sadly, it is practically a typical week. Since taking over in January 2018, Lemsagam has run the club with all the professionalism of a circus clown.
