As Dawid Malan, 32, belatedly embarks on his new career at Yorkshire, the former Middlesex skipper and England left–handed batsman is both excited and relieved now that finally he’s returning to competitive cricket. “I’m really thrilled because I thought at one point we weren’t going to bowl a ball this season because of the crisis and I didn’t think I’d play.
