IN a match where one of the greats of the county game over the last decade recorded 500 firstclass wickets, an exciting seamer on the rise proved to be the match winner.
Chester-le-Street’s stalwart Chris Rushworth claimed his 500th first-class scalp by removing Tom Kohler-Cadmore, further enhancing his reputation as one of great seamers on the county circuit.
But even he was powerless as Matthew Fisher produced a newball spell that Rushworth would be proud of - sparking a collapse in the Durham line-up and paving the way for victory.
