Rain hits England World bid

ENGLAND’S hopes of making next year’s World Test Championship final were dealt a blow by a washed-out third day in Southampton that means this second Test against Pakistan appears destined for a draw.
Despite a limited amount of rain at the Ageas Bowl, no play was possible thanks to the persistent bad light that had wiped out so much play on the first two days.
