ENGLAND captain Joe Root is relishing his chance to play T20 cricket again for Yorkshire - and hopes it could lead to an international recall in the short format.
Root is set to make his T20 return against Derbyshire today after Thursday’s match against Nottinghamshire was washed out.
He would love to get back into the England T20 side ahead of the World Cup in India and he said: “I’m not giving up on it at all, but I’m quite realistic in terms of where I am in the shake-up of things at the moment.
“I want England to go to World Cups and win....
