Lord’s cricket ground will have a different look and feel to it when England and New Zealand take the field this week for the first Test of the summer, what with reduced crowd numbers allowed to watch and modernised Compton and Edrich stands to watch it from, but in one major respect nothing will have changed nor probably ever will.
