LEICESTERSHIRE batsman Rishi Patel is hoping to boost his county prospects by winning silverware with Sawston and Babraham in the East Anglian Premier League.
The 22-year-old debutant hit 59 to help yield a five-wicket victory at Bury St Edmunds – the table-toppers’ seventh win from seven.
Former Essex star Patel said: “For me, it was a no-brainer to join the club and try and win trophies.”
