June 21 delay hits clubs in the pocket

YORKSHIRE chief executive Mark Arthur reckons there will be huge financial consequences after the end of Covid restrictions was delayed for at least a month.
All clubs had been banking on getting more fans through the door but that won’t happen anytime soon after Boris Johnson announced this week that the June 21 ‘Freedom Day’ would be put back four weeks until July 19 at the earliest.
