NAT SCIVER smashed England’s joint fastest half-century in T20 international cricket to set-up victory in a rain-affected opening game of this three match series against India in Northampton.
Sciver was in the groove from the outset and raced to 55 from just 27 balls, striking the ball cleanly and using her power to force the spinners away off a slow surface.
She clubbed a total of eight fours and a six in her 27-ball 55, including three boundaries in one over from Arundhati Reddy.
