Charlesworth will take a win over a first ton

NOTHING could dampen Gloucestershire hero Ben Charlesworth’s mood after guiding his side to a seven-wicket victory over Hampshire in a rain-reduced 37-over contest in Bristol.
Hampshire made 204-8 after winning the toss as Tom Alsop top-scored with 57 in an opening stand with Tom Prest (41), while spinner Graeme van Buuren finished with 3-36.
But Charlesworth produced a career-best 99 not out in response, sharing a fourth-wicket stand of 130 with Jack Taylor (67), as the hosts got home on 205-3 with nine balls to spare.
