RAVINDRA Jadeja is one of those enterprising and combative players every side wishes it had. On paper, they don’t always find a place in the team but once they do, captains wonder how they could ever do without them.
Jadeja is 32 and has been making a nuisance of himself, at least to opponents, for a decade. Whether with bat, ball or his dynamic fielding, he relishes the scrap and the moment where he can make a difference. It isn’t always pretty but it is effective.
