ENGLAND all-rounder Georgia Elwiss has been enjoying a return to her Midlands roots in The Hundred after returning to cricket following a cruel run of back injuries.
Wolverhampton-born Elwiss has played a key role with bat and ball for Birmingham Phoenix since making her first appearance for England for two years due to injury.
In June she was awarded a new central contract and recalled for the oneoff Test against India as a specialist batter, her 54th England cap and first international appearance since the Ashes series in 2019.
