Ben Stokes will be heading to Newcastle and Manchester this September as part of the 4CAST ICONS series for Ben Stokes Live!
Simon Fielder Productions has joined forces with 4CAST to bring you this inaugural event of The ICONS series, a new talk sport show created by 4CAST, featuring England’s newest cricket skipper, Ben Stokes OBE, who will be appearing live on stage for the very first time.
In conversation with Josh Denzel, Ben will lift the lid on the national side’s incredible transformation and give you an insight into the highs and lows of his extraordinary rollercoaster life. The audience will relive iconic moments from Ben’s career on the big screen and the pair will be joined on stage by famous sporting friends, Sir Ian Botham and Mark Wood in Newcastle and David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd in Manchester, for sparkling conversation and hilarious anecdotes.
With England cricket at its highest point in many years and with Ben at the helm, this is your chance to see one of cricket’s greatest ever players live on stage and hear first-hand about his inspirational journey from a young boy born in New Zealand to his meteoric rise as Captain of the England cricket team. Ben made his Test debut in 2013 and was part of the England Team that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup, winning Man of the Match and achieving a top score of 84 in the final. In 2020 and 2021 he was named as the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World and is winner of the ICC Award for Best Men’s Cricketer and BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2019.
Ben said: “I am looking forward to the launch of the 4CAST ICONS series. When we set up the company back in 2021, I was excited to see where the guys could take it. It’s great to be the first featured guest of the series. I look forward to chatting to Josh and the other friends and guests who will be joining us on the night. It should be a great evening.”
Josh added: “Can’t wait for the launch of 4CAST ICONS! The journey with Ben and the team so far has been incredible and we cannot wait to put on some amazing shows for you all. I’m sure you are going to love the conversations we have with our guests and hopefully, you will get some new insight into the incredible athletes and public figures we are blessed to have here in the UK and further afield. See you all soon.”
Simon Fielder said: “Over the past decade, I have been lucky enough to work with some of sport’s greatest entertainers, who have been just as enthralling on stage as on the field of play. Ben is currently our biggest national hero and if these evenings are half as exciting as England’s test matches this summer, the audiences are in for quite a ride!
