KNOWLE & Dorridge captain Jack Grundy was denied a ten-wicket haul in his side’s five-wicket win over Shrewsbury in the Birmingham & District Premier League – by one of English domestic cricket’s most recognisable players.
Grundy had ripped through Shrewsbury to take the first nine scalps but the final wicket fell to veteran left-arm spinner Samit Patel, who had George Garrett reluctantly caught at slip by Ethan Brookes.
