OPENER Jonathan Mills played from the heart after scoring a magnifient century fior his club just a week after discovering his treatment for cancer had been unsuccessful.
Mills was the hero in helping Brookweald 2nd XI to a one-run victory over Woodham Mortimer in the-Mid Essex Cricket League Playing his first game of the season, Mills, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2022, hit 110 from 123 balls as Brookweald reached 248-9 in their 45 overs. He was supported by 61 from captain Gary Wolfe.
