Woodlands go 30 points clear in Bradford League

DEFENDING champions Woodlands have gone 30 points clear at the top of the Bradford Premier League table after managing to escape the rain and defeat Ossett by 156 runs.
Batting first, Woodlands made 186-4 with skipper Brad Schmulian hitting 87 and opener Tim Jackson 54.
Chasing a revised target of 212, Ossett were blown away for 55. Mohammed Bilal ripped through their lineup, taking 7-20.
Only two Ossett batters made it to double figures, Matthew Race (22) and James Wade (21 not out).
Half of the Bradford League’s fixtures were rained off but second place New Farnley managed...
