Bumble’s back: Lloyd on his way to an unbeaten 89

AFTER 15 YEARS out of cricket, ex-England and Lancashire player David Lloyd came out of retirement to feature for the Lancashire Over 70s side, scoring an unbeaten 89 in the process.
Lloyd’s appearance came fifty years to the month after his Test debut, although this game was being held at Leyland Cricket Club, just outside of Preston, as opposed to Lord’s.
