Pope bags six in Birmingham League

AUSSIE LEG-SPINNER Lloyd Pope spun Barnt Green to a three-wicket win over Moseley in the Birmingham and District Premier League.
The Adelaide Strikers man took 6-44 from 14.1 overs as Moseley were bowled out for 173 inside 44 overs.
In response, Moseley started strongly, after a first wicket stand of 106 between Chapman-Lilley and Cullen.
They then slipped from 147-3 to 164-7, but Pope was there at the end unbeaten on 5 to see Barnt Green over the line. Usman Awan’s 4-43 went in vain for Moseley.
