Regulator sanctions Essex and Feroze Khushi for oversized bat

ESSEX and Feroze Khushi have been charge by the Cricket Regulator with breaching Regulations 3.2 & 3.3 of the Professional Code of Conduct.

This follows the use of an oversized bat during the Vitality County Championship match against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge back on 6 April 2024.
Essex beat Notts with Khushi scoring 18 and 32. However, during their second innings, umpires Tom Lungley and Steve O’Shaughnessy found his bat had got “stuck in their measurement gauge”.
