PIRATES won their first Disability Premier League (DPL) title at Sophia Gardens last weekend, completing a dominant unbeaten season.
They defeated Tridents by 32 runs, comfortably defending their total of 143-6 thanks to a disciplined and commanding bowling performance.
The match was played ahead of England Men’s second T20I against Australia. It was part of a brilliant day of cricket in Cardiff and an excellent showcase for the disability game.
