Regional cricket bowed out last weekend with the final of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. While the game went not with a bang but a whimper, only a handful of fans in to watch a match which was eventually curtailed by early autumn rain, it did complete a redemption arc for a side who have been statistically the worst of the era.
