Harry Brook named captain as England expects

England have named Harry Brook as their new white-ball captain and the Yorkshire star has revealed that due to his new role, he will not take part in franchise leagues around the world in the near future.
His previously announced withdrawal from the IPL this year means he is likely in any case to suffer a two-year ban from the tournament.
The 26-year-old Brook, who captained England in Jos Buttler’s absence in five ODIs against Australia back in September, said: “It’s a real honour to be named England’s white-ball captain.
