NOTTINGHAMSHIRE and England fast bowler Stuart Broad has been named as the captain of the MCC side for next month’s clash with county champions Surrey.
The MCC will face Surrey in a four-day game in Dubai between March 24 and 27 as a curtain raiser for the new County Championship season.
MCC assistant secretary John Stephenson said: “Stuart is not only a player of the very highest class, but his experience of over 100 Test matches will be invaluable to the younger players in the squad.
