Chance meet has put me on the brink of a World Series

You were named in the England Physical Disability Squad last week – how did your journey into cricket start?
I started playing cricket when I left University. I always played different team sports all the way tbut by chance, I ended up meeting my local cricket club’s [Albrighton] chairman on a school ski trip with a school I worked at. From there on, I went along to a few winter nets and that was the beginning of the journey.
I’ve gone from playing second team in a village to getting the opportunity to represent England for the sixth time in a World Series on home soil....
