AS IF one last-gasp thriller wasn’t enough, Mochdre completed their second successive final-ball victory in the North Wales Cricket League with a nail-biting one run win over Bangor.
In a clash of the Premier Division’s top two sides, Mochdre defended their score of 261-9 with a dot ball to finish when their opponents had needed six runs to win off the last over, and two to win off the final ball.
This came after the villagers had beaten Menai Bridge the previous week with the winning runs in their chase of 216 hit off the last delivery of the match.
