BROADWATER are in the Sussex Cricket Leagues for the first time in their history and skipper Nigel Waller admits his side cannot wait to test themselves on the new stage.
Waller’s side stormed to the West Sussex Invitation League title last week to secure their spot in the newly-restructured Sussex League Division 5 West.
Broadwater will be joined in the new-look league by seven 2nd XIs from higher up the leagues while some matches switch from the 100-overs formats to 45-over win/lose matches.
