TICKNALL are ready to change from perennially mid-table contenders to title challengers in the Derbyshire Premier Division – that’s according to skipper Paul Borrington.
Having finished fourth or fifth in each of the last three seasons, Ticknall are currently sat second after winning two of their opening four matches.
But the highlight of the season so far undeniably came in their draw against Denby, with Borrington and Tom Wood plundering 139no and 162 in a 324-run, 277-ball opening stand.
