PLAYING club cricket comes with its challenges but it’s fair to say that being attacked by a raging bull is not normally one of them.
Yet that’s what players at Kerridge, near Macclesfield, had to contend with during their match against Mossley last Saturday.
A ginger bull escaped from a nearby field and decided he fancied a game of cricket – charging at Kerridge captain Adam Banks before turning on the umpire and another fielder, who were forced to take evasive action.
