THE Greater Manchester Cricket League insists it will not leave any teams out in the cold should the Pennine League fold this season.
Up to 18 new teams could be joining the GMCL next season, after discussions took place between the two leagues – which the Lancashire Cricket Board confirmed in a statement last week. The Pennine League clubs will now vote on the proposal next week, but GMCL chairman Martin Kay wants to make it clear they would be happy and able to hosts any clubs hoping to join next year.
