MARK Clarkson was the hero last weekend as his superb hat-trick helped Netherfield pummel rivals Chorley and take a giant stride towards the Northern Premier League title but there is no great secret to his success –simply hard work.
Clarkson took 5-21 in a remarkable spell to help the leaders skittle second-placed Chorley for just 77, eventually winning the match by seven wickets.
