Bans follow fists

BIRMINGHAM Premier League Second Division sides Fordhouses and Old Hill have both been sanctioned after violence erupted between a player and spectator in a match earlier this summer.
A row broke out between Old Hill’s Nigel Davenport and spectator Pervaiz Akhtar, the father of Fordhouses player Shoaib Akhtar, with Davenport reportedly striking both Akhtar senior and junior.
Davenport was banned for ten games, Old Hill were deducted 24 points and Fordhouses deducted 36 for failing to control the situation.
